At its twenty-fourth session, the Board decided to extend the mandate of the Intersessional working group on proposed amendments to the financial regulations, under the chairmanship of Austria, to submit proposed amendments to the financial regulations to the Programme and Budget Committee (IDB.24/Dec.7 (d)).
قرر المجلس في دورته الرابعة والعشرين تمديد ولاية الفريق العامل ما بين الدورات المعني بالتعديلات المقترح ادخالها على النظام المالي، والذي ترأسه النمسا، لكي يقدم تعديلات يقترح ادخالها على النظام المالي إلى لجنة البرنامج والميزانية (م ت ص-24/م-7 (د)).

22. The Board had before it the report of the Chairperson, H.E. Mrs. I. Freudenschuss-Reichl (Austria), of the Intersessional working group on proposed amendments to the financial regulations (IDB.23/8).

On 4 September, the Committee considered the report of the Chairperson of the Intersessional working group on proposed amendments to the financial regulations (PBC.16/10) and, after consideration of a draft conclusion on financial regulations submitted by the Chairman, adopted on 5 September the following conclusion:

)ب( طلب الى الفريق العامل ما بين الدورات المعني بالتعديلات المقترح ادخالها على النظام المالي أن يواصل دراسة البنود ٤-٢ )ب( و ٤-٢ )ج( و ٤-٣ )ب( و ٤-٣ )ج( و ٥-٢ )د( من النظام المالي تحت رئاسة . ،)١( وأن يقدم الى اللجنة في دورتها الرابعة عشرة تقريرا بهذا الشأن ؛

(c) Encouraged the intersessional working group on proposed amendments to the financial regulations to resume its work as soon as possible and to present concrete proposals regarding the financial regulations, including financial regulations 4.2(b), 4.2(c), 4.3(c) and 5.2(d);

Regarding the issue of increased flexibility in the allocation of budgetary resources, the Secretariat will seek the guidance of the intersessional group on proposed amendments to the financial regulations of UNIDO with a view to amending financial regulations 4.3(b) and 4.3(c) that govern the transfer of expenditures.
