WTO 47. The Working Group on the Interaction between Trade and Competition Policy (WGTCP) was established at the WTO Singapore Ministerial Conference in December 1996 and handles the work and development of competition matters in the WTO, focusing on specific trade policy issues.
47- أنشئ الفريق العامل المعني بالتفاعل بين التجارة وسياسة المنافسة في مؤتمر سنغافورة الوزاري لمنظمة التجارة العالمية الذي عقد في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1996، وهو يعالج مسائل العمل وتطوير المنافسة() في منظمة التجارة العالمية، مركّزا على المسائل التي تخص سياسة التجارة.

While any decision taken at the Fifth World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference in Cancún (to be held in September 2003) regarding the Interaction between Trade and competition policy would have fundamental repercussions for international work in this area, the importance of competition for development was independent from any such decision.
وإذا كان أي قرار يُتخذ في المؤتمر الوزاري الخامس لمنظمة التجارة العالمية في كانكون (المقرر عقده في أيلول/سبتمبر 2003) فيما يتعلق بالتفاعل بين التجارة وسياسة المنافسة ستكون له انعكاسات أساسية على العمل الدولي في هذا المجال، فإن أهمية المنافسة بالنسبة للتنمية مستقلة عن أي قرار من هذا القبيل.
