97. The Commission therefore renewed its efforts to verify allegations that certain atrocities committed in Rwanda by the current Government might be systematic or widespread, by applying the same standards of impartiality and independence that it has applied to all other investigations concerning the situation in Rwanda.
٩٧ - ولذلك، جددت اللجنة ما تقوم به من جهود للتحقق من الادعاءات بأن بعض الفظائع التي ارتكبتها الحكومة الحالية في رواندا قد تكون منتظمة أو واسعة النطاق، وذلك بتطبيق نفس معايير الحيدة والاستقلال التي طبقتها على جميع التحقيقات اﻷخرى المتعلقة بالحالة في رواندا.

Draws the attention of the United Nations, in particular the Security Council, as well as the international community at large, to the various implications that any further procrastination in the deployment of African troops will have with respect to the situation in Rwanda and, indeed, to any serious regional effort at contributing to peace and security within the framework of the United Nations;

SECURITY COUNCIL I have the honour to request, under rule 2 of the provisional rules of procedure of the Security Council, a formal meeting of the Security Council immediately following the informal consultations scheduled for 22 June 1994 at 11 a.m., in order to put to the vote the draft resolution (S/1994/737) on the situation in Rwanda which was circulated in blue tonight.
أتشرف بأن أطلب، بموجب المادة ٢ من النظام الداخلي المؤقت لمجلس اﻷمن، عقد اجتماع رسمي لمجلس اﻷمن يجري مباشرة بعد المشاورات غير الرسمية المقرر عقدها في ٢٢ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٤ في الساعة ٠٠/١١، بغية التصويت على مشروع القرار (S/1994/737) المتعلق بالحالة في رواندا والذي وزع في صيغة مؤقتة هذا المساء.

149. The Commission considers that to enhance the fair and consistent interpretation, application and adjudication of international law on individual responsibility for serious human rights violations and to effect the most efficient allocation of resources, the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia should be expanded to permit cases concerning the situation in Rwanda to be brought under it.
١٤٩ - وترى اللجنة أنه، لتعزيز التفسير والتطبيق والفصل، على نحو عادل ومتسق، للقانون الدولي، بشأن المسؤولية الفردية عن الانتهاكات الخطيرة لحقوق اﻹنسان، وﻹجراء أكثر التخصيصات للموارد فعالية، ينبغي توسيع ولاية المحكمة الجنائية الدولية ليوغوسلافيا السابقة كي يتسنى رفع القضايا المتعلقة بالحالة في رواندا أمامها.
