Article 5 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination imposes on States Parties the obligation " to prohibit and to eliminate racial discrimination in all its forms and to guarantee the right of everyone, without distinction as to race, colour, or national or ethnic origin, to equality before the law, notably in the enjoyment of the following rights:
٨- وتفرض المادة ٥ من الاتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري على الدول اﻷطراف التزاماً " بحظر التمييز العنصري والقضاء عليه بكافة أشكاله، وبضمان حق كل إنسان، دون تمييز بسبب العرق أو اللون أو اﻷصل القومي أو اﻹثني، في المساواة أمام القانون، لا سيما بصدد التمتع بالحقوق التالية:

For example, the amended Article 157.1 of the CPC reads " During the examination proceedings, suspect, accused, defendant, advocate and victim shall enjoy following rights " .
وعلى سبيل المثال تنص المادة 157-1 من قانون الإجراءات الجنائية، بصيغتها المعدلة، على أن " يتمتع المشتبه به والمتهم والمدعى عليه والمحامي والضحية، أثناء إجراءات الفحص، بالحقوق التالية " .

145. Article 2 of the Persons with Special Needs Act No. 2 of 2004 provides as follows: " In addition to the rights afforded to them under other legislation, persons with special needs shall enjoy the following rights: Access to tools, equipment, transport and devices that assist their learning, rehabilitation, mobility and travel. "
145- تنص المادة 2 من القانون رقم 2 لسنة 2004 بشأن ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة على ما يلي: " يتمتع ذوو الاحتياجات الخاصة إضافة إلى ما يتمتعون به من حقوق بموجب التشريعات الأخرى، بالحقوق التالية: " الحصول على الأدوات والأجهزة ووسائل النقل والمعدات التي تساعدهم على التعلم والتأهيل والحركة والتنقل " .

Article 37 of the Constitution establishes the following rights of citizens: to vote and to stand for election; to be eligible for public office; to associate for the formation of political parties, and to join or leave such parties; and the other rights recognized by the Constitution and by law. Young people aged 12 to 18 are subject to the application of the Minors' Jurisdiction Act if they commit an offence.
وينص الدستور في مادته 37 على أن من حق المواطن التمتع بالحقوق التالية: أن ينتخب وأن يُنتخب أهلية تقلد مناصب عامة؛ أن يشترك في تأسيس أحزاب سياسية، وأن ينضم إليها أو يتركها؛ وأن يتمتع بالحقوق الأخرى المعترف بها في هذا الدستور وفي القانون والشباب الذين تتراوح أعمارهم ما بين 12 و18 سنة تطبق عليهم مبادئ قانون القصر في حالة ارتكابهم جرائم.
