The meeting of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Lessons Learned from United Nations Congresses on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice was held in Bangkok from 15 to 18 August 2006.

The report of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Lessons Learned from United Nations Congresses on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice has been prepared pursuant to Economic and Social Council resolution 2006/26 of 27 July 2006.
أُعد تقرير فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المعني بالدروس المستفادة من مؤتمرات الأمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية عملا بقرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2006/26 المؤرخ 27 تموز/يوليه 2006.

Recalling also its resolution 62/173 of 18 December 2007, in which it endorsed the recommendations made by the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Lessons Learned from United Nations Congresses on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its meeting held in Bangkok from 15 to 18 August 2006,
وإذ تستذكر أيضاً قرارها 62/173، المؤرَّخ 18 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2007، الذي أقرّت فيه التوصيات التي أصدرها فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المعني بالدروس المستفادة من مؤتمرات الأمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية في اجتماعه الذي عُقد في بانكوك من 15 إلى 18 آب/أغسطس 2006،

Pursuant to Economic and Social Council resolution 2006/26 and grateful for the generous offer of the Government of Thailand to act as host for the meeting, the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Lessons Learned from United Nations Congresses on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice was held in Bangkok from 15 to 18 August 2006.
3- وعملا بقرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2006/26، وبفضل العرض الكريم الذي تقدّمت به حكومة تايلند لاستضافة الاجتماع، عُقد اجتماع فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المعني بالدروس المستفادة من مؤتمرات الأمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية في بانكوك من 15 إلى 18 آب/أغسطس 2006.

In the same resolution, the General Assembly recalled its resolution 62/173, in which it had endorsed the recommendations made by the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Lessons Learned from United Nations Congresses on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its meeting, held in Bangkok from 15 to 18 August 2006 (see E/CN.15/2007/6).
2- وفي القرار نفسه، أشارت الجمعية العامة إلى قرارها 62/173، الذي أقرّت فيه التوصيات الصادرة عن فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المعني بالدروس المستفادة من مؤتمرات الأمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية في اجتماعه الذي عقد في بانكوك في الفترة من 15 إلى 18 آب/أغسطس 2006 (انظر E/CN.15/2007/6).

The Meeting commented on ways and means of ensuring appropriate follow-up on the outcomes of United Nations congresses on crime prevention and criminal justice, taking into account the work of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Lessons Learned from United Nations Congresses on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
15- وعلّق الاجتماع على سبل ووسائل ضمان المتابعة المناسبة لنتائج مؤتمرات الأمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، آخذا في الاعتبار عمل فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المعني بالدروس المستفادة من مؤتمرات الأمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية.

Takes note of the report of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Lessons Learned from United Nations Congresses on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, held in Bangkok from 15 to 18 August 2006, and endorses the conclusions and recommendations of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts;
