Pursuant to paragraph 19 of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Rresolution 1980/67, relatinged to the procedures for organiszing the celebration of international years and anniversaries, the letter indicated that provisions should be made for national committees to be set up to prepare for, conduct and follow up on the international year, in close cooperation with the secretariat.
30- وعملا بالفقرة 19 من قرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 1980/67، بشأن إجراءات تنظيم الاحتفال بالسنوات الدولية وبذكرى أحداث معينة، أشارت الرسالة إلى أنه ينبغي وضع ترتيبات من أجل إنشاء لجان وطنية للإعداد للسنة الدولية وإدارتها ومتابعتها بالتعاون الوثيق مع الأمانة.
