28. In relation to the topic " Treaties over time " , the Commission reconstituted the Study Group on Treaties over time, which continued its work on the aspects of the topic relating to subsequent agreements and practice.

21. As regards the topic " Treaties over time " , the Commission reconstituted the Study Group on Treaties over time, which continued its work on the aspects of the topic relating to subsequent agreements and subsequent practice.

While several delegations supported this narrower approach to the subject, as opposed to a broader one that would encompass the various factors affecting the operation of a treaty over the span of its existence, the view was taken that other issues related to Treaties over time could also be examined by the Commission.

115. His delegation also endorsed the Commission's decision to reorient its work on Treaties over time and to upgrade the matter to a full-fledged topic on subsequent agreement and subsequent practice in relation to the interpretation of treaties.

36. She welcomed the work accomplished by the Working Groups on Treaties over time and the most-favoured-nation clause and looked forward to future developments on both topics, including a clearer indication of goals and methods of work.

145. The Special Rapporteur proposes to submit, for the session in 2014, his second report on further aspects of the topic, most of which have been addressed in his three reports for the Study Group on Treaties over time and which the Study Group has, in part, discussed in 2011 and 2012.

Mr. Duray (Belgium) said that, in response to the request for information relating to Treaties over time contained in paragraph 27 of the Commission's report, his delegation wished to provide two relevant examples of subsequent practice with respect to the application and interpretation of article 3 common to the Geneva Conventions and of Additional Protocol II thereto.

XII).
