In the same resolution, the Assembly requested the Commission on Human Rights to invite the Working Group to identify an appropriate date for the observance of the International Day of Indigenous People.
وفي القرار ذاته، طلبت الجمعية العامة الى لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان أن تدعو الفريق العامل لكي يحدد موعدا ملائما للاحتفال باليوم الدولي للسكان اﻷصليين.

129. The General Assembly, in its resolution 49/214, decided that the International Day of Indigenous People should be observed on 9 August every year during the Decade.
٩٢١- وقررت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٩٤/٤١٢، أن يحتفل باليوم الدولي للسكان اﻷصليين في ٩ آب/أغسطس من كل سنة خلال العقد.

In that connection, she pointed out that Estonia had observed the International Day of Indigenous People with various events organized by non-governmental organizations.
وأشارت، في هذا الصدد، إلى أن أستونيا احتفلت باليوم الدولي للسكان اﻷصليين من خلال أنشطة عديدة نظمتها بالتعاون مع المنظمات غير الحكومية.

138. At its forty-sixth session, the Sub—Commission, in its resolution 1994/47, decided to recommend that the International Day of Indigenous People be observed every year on 9 August.
٨٣١- وقررت اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها السادسة واﻷربعين، في قرارها ٤٩٩١/٧٤، التوصية بالاحتفال باليوم الدولي للسكان اﻷصليين في يوم ٩ آب/أغسطس من كل عام.

٣٧ - وقال إن ممثلا لشعب " مابوش " ، شارك مع وفده في الاحتفال باليوم الدولي للسكان اﻷصليين المقام في المقر في آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٩، حيث أدلى وفده ببيان عن الدين الذي يدين به المجتمع اﻷرجنتيني لمجتمعاته اﻷصلية.

To this end, the Working Group on Indigenous Populations, as requested in the resolution, endorsed, in its report on its twelfth session (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1994/30), the proposal made by a large number of indigenous representatives, including Mrs. Rigoberta Menchú Tum, that the International Day of Indigenous People be observed annually on 9 August.
