In this context, further work by the OSCE and by the United Nations in this sphere should be guided by paragraph 29 of the Istanbul Summit Declaration and by the draft resolution to be considered at this session of the General Assembly on the strengthening of international cooperation and coordination of efforts to study, mitigate and minimize the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster.
