The Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in the territory of the former Yugoslavia agreed on the need to coordinate the carrying out of both mandates in their respective spheres of competence and welcomed the cooperation offered.
وأعرب المقرر الخاص المعني بحالة حقوق الانسان في اقليم يوغوسلافيا سابقا عن موافقته على ضرورة تنسيق النهوض بولايتيهما، كل في مجال اختصاصه، وأعرب عن امتنانه للتعاون المعروض.

وإذ ترحب بتقارير وتوصيات المقرر الخاص للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان المعني بحالة حقوق الانسان في اقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة)١٠(،

In this regard, the former Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, Mr. T. Mazowiecki, pointed to the negative consequences that might arise when such areas are not effectively defended (A/50/441, annex-S/1995/801, annex).

11. Encourages the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia to continue to pay particular attention to the widespread occurrence of rape, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and acknowledges the work done by his team of female experts;
١١ - تشجع المقرر الخاص للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان المعني بحالة حقوق الانسان في اقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة على أن يستمر في إيلاء عناية خاصة للاغتصاب الذي يحدث على نطاق واسع، ولا سيما في البوسنة والهرسك، وتقر بجودة العمل الذي اضطلع به فريق خبيراته؛

" 11. Invites the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, in the context of his mandate, to take particularly into account continued grave violations of human rights in the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to report accordingly;
١١- تدعو المقرر الخاص المعني بحالة حقوق الانسان في اقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة الى أن يأخذ في اعتباره بصفة خاصة، في سياق ولايته، الانتهاكات الجسيمة المستمرة لحقوق الانسان في جمهورية البوسنة والهرسك، وأن يقدم تقريرا تبعا لذلك؛

11. Encourages the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia to continue to pay particular attention to the widespread occurrence of rape, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and acknowledges the work done by his team of female experts;

478. Croatia had cooperated with the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights concerning the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia and had furnished him with the information which had been requested. Croatia also intended to cooperate with the war crimes tribunal which was to be established pursuant to the decision of the Security Council.

The Secretary-General has the honour to transmit to the members of the Security Council the periodic report on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia submitted by Mr. Tadeusz Mazowiecki, Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights, pursuant to paragraph 37 of Commission resolution 1994/72.
يتشرف اﻷمين العام بأن يحيل الى أعضاء مجلس اﻷمن التقرير الدوري المتعلق بحالة حقوق الانسان في اقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة والمقدم من السيد تاديوش مازوفيتسكي، المقرر الخاص للجنة حقوق الانسان عملا بالفقرة ٣٧ من قرار اللجنة ١٩٩٤/٧٢.

The reduction of $770,000 is due mainly to the reduction of requirements for the activities of the Centre mandated by the Economic and Social Council relating to the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia ($803,000), offset in part by an additional provision of $33,000 for the maintenance of office automation equipment.
ويعزى التخفيض البالغ ٠٠٠ ٧٧٠ دولار بصورة أساسية إلى تخفيض الاحتياجات اللازمة ﻷنشطة المركز التي يصدر بها تكليف من المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي فيما يتصل بحالة حقوق الانسان في اقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة )٠٠٠ ٨٠٣ دولار( مما يقابله جزئيا مبلغ اضافي قدره ٠٠٠ ٣٣ دولار لصيانة معدات التشغيل اﻵلي للمكاتب.

Therefore, the Committee has decided to invite you, in your capacity as Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, to investigate all allegations concerning sexual and other violations, as well as measures to bring to justice those responsible for these abuses.
ولذلك قررت اللجنة دعوتكم، بصفتكم المقرر الخاص للجنة حقوق الانسان المعنية بحالة حقوق الانسان في اقليم يوغوسلافيا سابقا، الى التحقيق في جميع الادعاءات المتعلقة بالانتهاكات الجنسية وغيرها من انتهاكات حقوق الانسان الخاصة بالمرأة والى التوصية باتخاذ تدابير تكفل الحيلولة دون استمرار هذه الانتهاكات، وتدابير أيضا لتقديم المسؤولين عن هذه الاعتداءات الى العدالة.

The comments also pertain to the positions of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia regarding several statements and accusations about the human rights situation in the territory of the former Yugoslavia made in the debate in the Third Committee under agenda item 114.
وتتصل التعليقات أيضا بمواقف جمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية مما أدلى به من بيانات وووجه من اتهامات عدة تتعلق بحالة حقوق الانسان في اقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة، في المناقشة التي جرت في اللجنة الثالثة في إطار البند ١١٤ من جدول اﻷعمال.

31. On 12 February 1993, the Special Rapporteur held a meeting at the offices of the Centre for Human Rights in Geneva with the Commission on Human Rights Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, Mr. Tadeusz Mazowiecki, during which he informed Mr. Mazowiecki of the status of his investigations, the communications and allegations received, and the meetings referred to in the preceding paragraphs.
٣١ - وفي ١٢ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٣، أجرى المقرر الخاص مقابلة في مقر مركز حقوق الانسان في جنيف، مع المقرر الخاص التابع للجنة حقوق الانسان والمعني بحالة حقوق الانسان في اقليم يوغوسلافيا سابقا، السيد تادييوش مازوويسكي، أبلغه أثناءها بما توصلت اليه تحقيقاته، وبالرسائل والادعاءات الواردة، وبالمقابلات المشار اليها في الفقرات السابقة.
