The report confirms that, in accordance with decision XVII/36, the Party has introduced a ban on the Import of equipment containing halons and equipment that uses halons, and that starting in 2006 it is implementing an import quota system which limits 2006 halon imports to no greater than 1.2 ODPtonnes, in accordance with decision XVII/36.
ويؤكد التقرير أن الطرف قام، وفقا للمقرر 17/36، بإدخال العمل بحظر استيراد المعدات التي تحتوي على هالونات والمعدات التي تستخدم هالونات، وأنه ينفذ بدءا من عام 2006 نظاما لحصص الاستيراد يحد من استيراد الهالونات في عام2006 بما لا يزيد عن 1.2 طن محسوبة بدالة استنفاد الأوزون وفقا للمقرر 17/36.

The Party also had yet to submit an update on the status of its commitment, contained in decision XV/34, to ban the Import of equipment using ODS.

The Bamako Convention on the Ban of the Import into Africa and the Control of Transboundary Movement of All Forms of Hazardous Wastes within Africa, signed by African countries, is an example of such an arrangement.
واتفاقية باماكو المتعلقة بحظر استيراد جميع أشكال النفايات الخطرة الى افريقيا ومراقبة حركتها عبر الحدود داخل افريقيا، التي وقعتها البلدان الافريقية، هي مثال لهذا الترتيب.

The Party also confirmed in correspondence dated 9 February 2007 that it had passed a regulation that prohibited the Import of equipment that uses ozone-depleting substances.
