Each High Contracting Party to the Protocol shall submit an initial declaration on the implementation of the provisions of the Protocol to the Depository of the Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May be Deemed to be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects, no later than 60 days after the entry into force of this Protocol for that State Party.
1- يقدم كل طرف متعاقد سامٍ في البروتوكول إعلاناً أولياً عن تنفيذ أحكام البروتوكول إلى الجهة الوديعة لاتفاقية حظر أو تقييد استعمال أسلحة تقليدية معينة يمكن اعتبارها مفرطة الضرر أو عشوائية الأثر، وذلك في موعد لا يتجاوز 60 يوماً من بدء نفاذ هذا البروتوكول بالنسبة إلى تلك الدولة الطرف.

Existing explosive remnants of war means unexploded ordnance and abandoned explosive ordnance that existed prior to the entry into force of this Protocol for the High Contracting Party on whose territory it exists.
5- ويقصد بالمتفجرات الموجودة من مخلفات الحرب الذخائر غير المنفجرة والذخائر المتفجرة المتروكة التي كانت موجودة قبل بدء نفاذ هذا البروتوكول بالنسبة إلى الطرف السامي المتعاقد الذي توجد هذه المتفجرات في إقليمه.

Existing explosive remnants of war means unexploded ordnance and abandoned explosive ordnance that existed prior to the entry into force of this Protocol for the High Contracting Party on whose territory it exists.
5- ويقصد بالمتفجرات الموجودة من مخلفات الحرب الذخائر غير المتفجرة والذخائر المتفجرة المتروكة التي كانت موجودة قبل بدء نفاذ هذا البروتوكول بالنسبة إلى الطرف السامي المتعاقد الذي توجد هذه المتفجرات في إقليمه.

Notwithstanding the provision of paragraph 1 of this Article, a High Contracting Party may use [, stockpile, own or possess], if strictly necessary, cluster munitions for XX years after the entry into force of this Protocol for that High Contracting Party.
3- وبالرغم مما تنص عليه الفقرة 1 من هذه المادة، يجوز لطرف سام متعاقد استخدام ]تخزين أو امتلاك أو اقتناء[، في حالة الضرورة القصوى، ذخائر عنقودية لمدة عشرين عاماً بعد بدء نفاذ هذا البروتوكول بالنسبة لهذا الطرف السامي المتعاقد.

4. As soon as feasible after the cessation of active hostilities, or where applicable after entry into force of this Protocol for it, each High Contracting Party and party to an armed conflict shall take the following measures in affected territories under its control, to reduce the risk posed by cluster munition remnants:
