6.6 The author further claimed that her husband's right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty has been violated, due to the extensive and adverse pretrial coverage by Statedirected media which designated the author and his cocharged as criminals, thereby negatively influencing the subsequent court proceedings.
6-6 وادعت صاحبة البلاغ كذلك أنه تم انتهاك حق زوجها في افتراض براءته إلى أن تثبت إدانته بسبب التغطية الواسعة والمعادية التي قامت بها وسائط الإعلام الموجَّهة من الدولة قبل المحاكمة والتي سمَّت زوج صاحبة البلاغ ومن اتهموا معه بالمجرمين مما أثر سلبا على مجريات المحاكمة لاحقا.

" The author further claimed that her husband's right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty has been violated, due to the extensive and adverse pre-trial coverage by State-directed media which designated the author and his co-charged as criminals, thereby negatively influencing the subsequent court proceedings.
" ادعت صاحبة البلاغ كذلك أنه تم انتهاك حق زوجها في افتراض براءته إلى أن تثبت إدانته بسبب التغطية الواسعة والمعادية التي قامت بها وسائط الإعلام الموجَّهة من الدولة قبل المحاكمة والتي سمَّت زوج صاحبة البلاغ ومن اتهموا معه بالمجرمين مما أثر سلبا على مجريات المحاكمة لاحقا.

The Ordinance, which gives effect in local law to the provisions of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights as applied to the HKSAR, guarantees, inter alia, the right to liberty and security of person, the right to equality before the courts, the right to a fair and public hearing, and the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
