The Human Rights Council invited the Office of the High Commissioner, through its presence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to enhance its technical assistance programmes and activities, and to report to the Human Rights Council at its nineteenth session.

In their responses, several donors provided information on their bilateral and multilateral technical assistance programmes and activities, such as projects on persistent organic pollutants, regional cooperation for the sound management of chemicals and the establishment of pollutant releases and transfer registers.

17. Urges the international community to support the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in increasing and enhancing its technical assistance programmes and activities to improve the human rights situation in the country, and invites the Office to report thereon to the Council at its twenty-seventh regular session;
17- يدعو المجتمع الدولي إلى دعم المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان من أجل زيادة وتعزيز ما تضطلع به من برامج وأنشطة المساعدة التقنية بغية تحسين حالة حقوق الإنسان في البلد، ويدعو جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية إلى تقديم تقرير في هذا الصدد إلى المجلس في دورته العادية السابعة والعشرين؛

83. Reference is made to the report of OHCHR on technical assistance programmes and activities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (A/HRC/24/33) (see paragraph 32 above).

45. In its resolution 24/27, the Human Rights Council requested OHCHR to report on its efforts to increase and enhance its technical assistance programmes and activities to improve the human rights situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
45- طلب مجلس حقوق الإنسان، في قراره 24/27، إلى المفوضية أن تقدم تقريراً عن جهودها الرامية إلى زيادة وتعزيز ما تضطلع به من برامج وأنشطة المساعدة التقنية بغية تحسين حالة حقوق الإنسان في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية.

20. Calls upon the international community to support the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in its efforts to increase and strengthen its technical assistance programmes and activities aimed at improving the human rights situation in the country, and invites the High Commissioner to report to the Council at its thirtieth session;
20- يدعو المجتمع الدولي إلى دعم المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان من أجل زيادة وتعزيز ما تضطلع به من برامج وأنشطة المساعدة التقنية بغية تحسين حالة حقوق الإنسان في البلد ويدعو المفوضية السامية إلى تقديم تقرير في هذا الصدد إلى المجلس في دورته العادية الثلاثين؛
