٢ - وقررت اللجنة، بغية مساعدتها في الوفاء بالمهام المعهود بها إليها عملا بالمادة ٠٤ من العهد، أن من المفيد إبلاغ الدول اﻷطراف برغباتها فيما يتعلق بشكل ومضمون التقارير.

4- يجوز للجنـة إبلاغ الـدول الأطراف، عن طريق الأمين العام، برغباتها فيما يتعلق بشكل ومضمون التقارير الواجب تقديمها بمقتضى المادة 40 من العهد.

1. Upon approval of the Council, the Committee may inform the States parties, through the SecretaryGeneral, of its wishes regarding the form and contents of the reports to be submitted under article 16 of the Covenant and the programme established by Council resolution 1988/4.
1- يجوز للجنة، بناء على موافقة المجلس، إبلاغ الدول الأطراف، من خلال الأمين العام، برغباتها فيما يتعلق بشكل ومضمون التقارير الواجبة التقديم بموجب المادة 16 من العهد والبرنامج الذي وضعه قرار المجلس 1988/4.
