15. Calls upon the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to further support the implementation of the Water for African Cities programme, as requested by the New Partnership for Africa's Development;

Further requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to strengthen its regional presence with a view to enhancing South-South cooperation in the implementation of its work programme and to provide and continue its support for efforts in subregional and regional cooperation in human settlements and urban development;
يرجو كذلك من برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية أن يعزز حضوره الإقليمي بغرض تعزيز التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب في تنفيذ برنامج عمله وتوفير ومواصلة دعمه للجهود الجارية في إطار التعاون دون الإقليمي والإقليمي في مجال المستوطنات البشرية والتنمية الحضرية؛

3. Further requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to strengthen its regional presence within existing resources with a view to enhancing South-South cooperation in the implementation of its work programme and to provide and continue its support for efforts in subregional and regional cooperation in human settlements and urban development;
يرجو كذلك من برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية أن يعزز حضوره الإقليمي في حدود موارده الحالية بغرض تعزيز التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب في تنفيذ برنامج عمله وتوفير ومواصلة دعمه للجهود الجارية في إطار التعاون دون الإقليمي والإقليمي في مجال المستوطنات البشرية والتنمية الحضرية؛

Also requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to strengthen interdivisional coordination and to enhance inter-divisional collaboration in the definition and development of country activities;
3 - ويطلب كذلك من برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية أن يعزز التنسيق بين الشُعب وأن يعزز التعاون بين الشُعب في تحديد وتطوير الأنشطة القطرية؛

Requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to improve the dissemination of lessons learnt from country activities and to ensure that these lessons feed into the global normative work of the agency;
5 - يطلب من برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية أن يعمل على تحسين تعميم الدروس المستفادة من الأنشطة القطرية وأن يكفل أن هذه الدروس تنصب في عمل الوكالة المعياري العالمي؛

Invites the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to give due consideration in its forthcoming organizational review to the need for increased decentralisation and delegation of authority in order to enhance the efficiency and impact of country activities;
8 - يدعو برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية أن يراعي على نحو تام في استعراضه التنظيمي المرتقب، الحاجة إلى زيادة اللامركزية وتفويض السلطات حرصاً على تعزيز كفاءة وأثر الأنشطة القطرية؛

Recalling also its resolution 22/9 of 3 April 2009, by which it requested the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to strengthen its regional presence with a view to enhancing SouthSouth cooperation in the implementation of its work programme,
وإذ يشير أيضاً إلى قراره 22/9 المؤرخ 3 نيسان/أبريل 2009، الذي طلب بمقتضاه إلى برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية أن يدعم وجود الإقليمي بغرض تعزيز التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب في تنفيذ برنامج عمله،

2. Requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to ensure that the Urban Basic Services Trust Fund uses the earmarked sectoral funds as specified, while allowing the funding of integrated solutions for urban basic services;
2- يطلب إلى برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية أن يكفل التزام الصندوق الاستئماني للخدمات الحضرية الأساسية باستخدام الأرصدة القطاعية المرصودة على النحو المنصوص عليه، مع السماح بتمويل الحلول المتكاملة في مجال الخدمات الحضرية الأساسية؛

2. Requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to ensure that the Urban Basic Services Trust Fund uses the earmarked sectoral funds as specified, while allowing the funding of integrated solutions for urban basic services;

Requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to mobilize and devote more core resources to the preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of country activities aligned with the MTSIP focus areas [alternative: and] or contributing to post-disaster and post-conflict rehabilitation and reconstruction in affected countries;

Further requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to develop its regional and inter-regional programmes as a mechanism to promote South-South cooperation [addition:, including triangular cooperation,] through exchange of experts, best practices and policy options;
7 - ويطلب كذلك من برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية أن يطور برامجه الإقليمية والأقاليمية البينية باعتبارها آلية لتدعيم التعاون بين بلدان الجنوب [يضاف: بما في ذلك التعاون الثلاثي الأطراف،] من خلال تبادل الخبراء، وأفضل الممارسات وخيارات السياسات؛

9. Requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to use its regional and interregional programmes as mechanisms to promote triangular, South-South, and city-to-city cooperation in this area through exchanges of experts, best practices and policy options;

وإذ يشير إلى طلبه إلى مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة وإلى برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية أن يعدّا اقتراحات لتقديم المساعدة التقنية في مجال منع الجريمة وفقا للمبادئ التوجيهية لمنع الجريمة،() بما في ذلك من خلال بناء القدرات والتدريب،

1. Requests the United Nations Human Settlements Programme to strengthen the integration of South-South cooperation in its activities, consistent with the provisions of the work programme, budget and the medium-term strategic and institutional plan and, to that end, to strengthen cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme and other relevant organizations within and outside the United Nations system;
