In the light of the experience it has gained, the SPT believes it would be useful to issue a revised set of Guidelines on national preventive mechanisms which reflect and respond to some of the questions and issues which have arisen in practice.

44. With the introduction in 2012 of NPM advisory visits, the Subcommittee refined its working methods when undertaking visits in order to pay greater attention to the NPM component of its mandate.

45. In its current form, the NPM advisory visit presupposes that an NPM is operational in the country which is to be visited.

Two reports arising from NPM advisory visits were made public following requests from the NPMs of the Republic of Moldova and Senegal within the reporting period and one report arising from a visit under article 11 (a) of the Optional Protocol was made public following a request from Argentina.

20. The Subcommittee has transmitted reports to the NPMs and to the States parties in the wake of its NPM advisory visits under articles 11 (b) and 12 of the Optional Protocol to Armenia, Germany, Honduras, the Republic of Moldova and Senegal, all of which took place within the current reporting period except for the visit to Honduras.
20- وأحالت اللجنة الفرعية إلى الآليات الوقائية الوطنية والدول الأطراف تقارير عن الزيارات الاستشارية التي أجرتها بشأن الآليات الوقائية الوطنية لأرمينيا وألمانيا وجمهورية مولدوفا والسنغال وهندوراس، في إطار المادة 11(ب) والمادة 12 من البروتوكول الاختياري، وجرت جميع الزيارات خلال الفترة الحالية المشمولة بالتقرير، فيما عدا الزيارة إلى هندوراس.
