2. Resolution on financial arrangements

This amendment is in positive response to the invitation from the Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the Minamata Convention on Mercury, which adopted the Convention and opened it for signature on 10 October 2013 in Kumamoto, Japan and also adopted Resolution 2 on financial arrangements that:

The General Assembly takes note of the report of the Secretary-General on financial arrangements associated with the dining room at the International Court of Justice, A/C.5/53/19. with the understanding, provided by the Secretariat, that the United Nations provides no subsidy in any form for the operation of the dining room at the International Court of Justice.

12. The Advisory Committee also had before it a note by the Secretary-General on financing arrangements for UNMIK for the period from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008 (A/62/801) concerning unforeseen additional requirements for the current period in the amount of $21,599,400.

In its report of 12 November 2010 (A/65/571), the Advisory Committee, pursuant to the note by the Secretary-General on financing arrangements for UNMIS for the same period (A/65/509), recommended that the General Assembly appropriate $85,705,600 for the support of the referendums, in addition to the amount already appropriated under the provisions of Assembly resolution 64/283 of 24 June 2010.
وإلحاقا بمذكرة الأمين العام بشأن الترتيبات المالية الخاصة بالبعثة في الفترة نفسها (A/65/509)، أوصت اللجنة الاستشارية في تقريرها المؤرخ 12 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2010 (A/65/571)، بأن تخصص الجمعية العامة مبلغا قدره 600 507 85 دولار، لدعم الاستفتاءين بالإضافة إلى المبلغ المخصص بالفعل بموجب أحكام قرار الجمعية 64/283 المؤرخ 24 حزيران/يونيه 2010.
