In considering the issue of reorientation of United Nations activities in the field of public information and communications, the Committee on Information should take into account the information provided in the previous report of the Secretary-General on the same subject (A/AC.198/1999/2) and in the latest report of the Secretary-General on questions relating to information (A/54/415).
