9. During its seventh session, the Ad Hoc Committee conducted informal discussions on articles 1 to 34, the preamble and the title of the draft convention in accordance with the programme of work adopted at its first meeting, on 16 January 2006.

Thus, at its eleventh session, in 1992, members of the Committee volunteered to prepare draft general recommendations on specific articles of the Convention for the consideration of the Committee at its twelfth session,11 while at that session additional members volunteered to prepare general comments and recommendations on articles 2 to 8, 11 and 12.11

87. The Committee considered the third periodic report of the Russian Federation on articles 1 to 15 of the Covenant (E/1994/104/Add.8) at its 11th to 14th meetings on 5, 6 and 7 May 1997 and, at its 25th meeting on 15 May 1997, adopted the following concluding observations.

200. The Committee considered the second periodic report of the Dominican Republic on articles 1 to 15 of the Covenant (E/1990/6/Add.7) at its 29th to 31st meetings on 18 and 19 November 1997 and, at its 51st meeting on 3 December 1997, adopted the following concluding observations.

296. The Committee considered the third periodic report of Finland on articles 1 to 15 of the Covenant (E/1994/104/Add.7) at its 37th, 38th and 40th meetings on 25 and 26 November 1996 and, at its 51st meeting on 4 December 1996, adopted the following concluding observations.

4. The present report reflects comments on the draft optional protocol received from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and from the Treaty Section of the Office of Legal Affairs (on articles 17 to 24).

1. This report is submitted by the United Kingdom as an addendum to its second periodic report on articles 10 to 12 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (E/1986/4/Add.23).

14. By the end of its thirteenth session, the Committee and, before that, its predecessor, the Sessional Working Group of Governmental Experts, had examined 144 initial reports, 70 second periodic reports and 20 initial and periodic global reports on articles 1 to 15.

9. During its fifth session, the Ad Hoc Committee conducted informal discussions on articles 7 (para. 5) to 15 of the draft convention and proposed additional articles in accordance with the programme of work adopted at its first meeting, on 24 January 2005.

114. The Committee considered the initial report of Guatemala on articles 1 to 15 of the Covenant (E/1990/5/Add.24) at its 11th to 14th meetings on 7 and 8 May 1996 and, at its 26th meeting on 17 May 1996, adopted the following concluding observations.
