Some members revisited the suggestion made in 2011 in connection with the adoption of a fissile material cut-off treaty, proposing a similar approach to the six-party talks on the Korean peninsula in the case of the South Asian region, to hold five-party talks between China, India, Pakistan, the Russian Federation and the United States of America as an avenue for confidence-building measures.
