The Programme supported work on the implementation of decision 18/CP.7 on emissions trading and decision 19/CP.7 on modalities for the accounting of assigned amounts, in particular relating to the development of the national registries of Annex I Parties, the transaction log and the technical standards for the exchange of data between registry systems.
64- وقدم البرنامج دعماً للعمل المتعلق بتنفيذ المقرر 18/م أ-7 بشأن تداول أرصدة الانبعاثات والمقرر 19/م أ-7 بشأن طرائق حساب كميات الانبعاثات المخصصة، ولا سيما فيما يتصل بوضع السجلات الوطنية للأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول، وسجل المعاملات، والمعايير التقنية لتبادل البيانات بين نظم السجلات.

وتعلقت البيانات بإدراج بندين فرعيين في جدول الأعمال هما البند 7(ج)، " مسائل تتصل بأحكام الفقرة 3 من المادة 2 من بروتوكول كيوتو " ، والبند 7(د)، " اقتراح مقدم من كندا لاتخاذ قرار بشأن طرائق حساب الكميات المخصصة بموجب الفقرة 4 من المادة 7 من بروتوكول كيوتو فيما يتعلق بصادرات الطاقة الأقل تلويثاً " .

Sub-item 8 (b) of the provisional agenda, " Implementation of Article 2, paragraph 3, of the Kyoto Protocol " , had been included at the request of Saudi Arabia, and sub-item 8 (c), " Proposal by Canada for a decision on modalities for the accounting of assigned amounts under Article 7, paragraph 4, of the Kyoto Protocol in relation to cleaner energy exports " , had been included at the request of Canada.
21- وقد أدرج البند 8(ب) من جدول الأعمال المؤقت المعنون " تنفيذ أحكام الفقرة 3 من المادة 2 من بروتوكول كيوتو " بناء على طلب من المملكة العربية السعودية، كما أدرج بناء على طلب كندا البند 8(ج) المعنون " اقتراح مقدم من كندا لاتخاذ قرار بشأن طرائق حساب الكميات المخصصة بموجب الفقرة 4 من المادة 7 من بروتوكول كيوتو فيما يتعلق بصادرات الطاقة الأقل تلويثاً " .

In addition, the sub-items " Matters relating to Article 2, paragraph 3, of the Kyoto Protocol " and " Proposal by Canada for a decision on modalities for the accounting of assigned amounts under Article 7, paragraph 4, of the Kyoto Protocol in relation to cleaner energy exports " have been included as agreed at COP 8.
