(a) A staff member appointed under these Rules who is authorized to travel at United Nations expense shall receive an appropriate subsistence allowance under conditions defined by the Secretary-General and in accordance with a schedule established from time to time, except in respect of travel on appointment, assignment or repatriation.
(أ) يحصل الموظف المعيـّن بموجب هذا النظام الإداري والمأذون له بالسفر على نفقة الأمم المتحدة بدل إقامة مناسب وفقا للشروط التي يحددها الأمين العام، ووفقا لمعدلات تُحدد من وقت لآخر، إلا في حالات التعيين أو الانتداب أو العودة إلى الوطن.

(b) Project personnel initially appointed under these Rules to a duty station, or reassigned to a new duty station, for a period of one year or longer under conditions which normally involve payment of an assignment grant shall be eligible for payment of the allowance.
(ب) يحق لموظفي المشاريع أن يدفع لهم هذا البدل عند بداية تعيينهم بموجب هذا النظام الإداري في أي مركز عمل، أو عندما ينتدبون بعد ذلك للعمل في مركز عمل جديد لمدة سنة واحدة أو أكثر طبقا لشروط تشمل عادة دفع منحة انتداب.
