Networking is included in The Strategy in operational objective 3.3 on science, technology and knowledge and in outcome 3.6 which states that science and technology networks and institutions relevant to desertification and drought should be engaged to support the implementation of the Convention; this is further confirmed by decision 14/COP.8.
