The representative of Cuba, speaking on behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement, recalled that the fourteenth summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, held in Havana in September 2006, had called for the elevation of the right to development to the same level and on a par with all other human rights, as well as its full operationalization through the elaboration of a convention.
8- تحدّث ممثل كوبا باسم حركة عدم الانحياز مذكّراً بأن مؤتمر القمة الرابع عشر لحركة عدم الانحياز الذي عقد بهافانا في أيلول/سبتمبر 2006، قد دعا إلى النهوض بالحق في التنمية ليرقى إلى نفس مستوى جميع حقوق الإنسان الأخرى ويصبح على قدم المساواة معها كما دعا إلى إعماله إعمالاً تاماً عن طريق وضع اتفاقية في هذا الشأن.

Likewise, they expressed their determination to preserve and act in keeping with the Bandung Principles and the purposes and principles of the Non-Aligned Movement in the present international juncture as agreed in the Declaration on the Purposes and Principles and the Role of the Non-Aligned Movement in the Present International Juncture adopted in the 14th NAM Summit in Havana.
وعبروا أيضاً عن عزمهم على صون مبادئ باندونغ وأهداف ومبادئ حركة عدم الانحياز في الظرف الدولي الراهن على النحو الذي تم الاتفاق عليه في البيان حول أهداف ومبادئ ودور حركة عدم الانحياز في ظل الوضع الدولي الراهن()الذي أقره مؤتمر القمة الرابع عشر المنعقد بهافانا.
