The International Seabed Authority (ISA) is the organization through which States organize and control activities in the Area, particularly with a view to administering the resources of the Area and to sharing the benefits arising from activities thereof.
والسلطة الدولية لقاع البحار هي منظمة تضطلع الدول من خلالها بتنظيم ومراقبة أنشطتها في المنطقة، ولا سيما بهدف إدارة موارد المنطقة وتقاسم المزايا الناجمة عن الأنشطة المضطلع بها في المنطقة.

Reaffirming also the importance of the work of the International Seabed Authority as the organization through which States parties shall organize and control activities in the Area, particularly with a view to administering the resources of the Area in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Convention and the 1994 Agreement relating to the implementation of Part XI of the Convention, on behalf of mankind as a whole,

(2) the responsibility of the Authority to organize and control activities in the Area, particularly with a view to administering the resources of the Area, in accordance with the legal regime established in Part XI of the Convention and the Agreement and Part XII of the Convention respectively; and
)٢( مسؤولية السلطة عن تنظيم ومراقبة اﻷنشطة في المنطقة، وخاصة بهدف إدارة موارد المنطقة، وفقا للنظام القانوني المحدد في الجزء الحادي عشر من الاتفاقية والجزء الثاني عشر من الاتفاق على التوالي؛

(2) The responsibility of the Authority to organize and control activities in the Area, particularly with a view to administering the resources of the Area, in accordance with the legal regime established in Part XI of the Convention and the Agreement and Part XII of the Convention respectively; and
