IFTDH also regularly informed its member organisations about the work of the Commission on Human Rights and the Human Rights Council.

Only then will it be possible for the Human Rights Council to avoid repeating the same failure as the Commission on Human Rights and become a mechanism of genuine dialogue and cooperation in the real sense envisaged by its founding ideals.
