Article 18 of the Law stipulates that juveniles prone to delinquency shall be handed over to the competent section of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour; the Ministry shall make arrangements for their accommodation in appropriate houses and the Juvenile Welfare Department shall handle all matters relating to the juvenile during a period of time that may be renewed by a decision of the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour.

245. In dealing with unemployment, the Government, through the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, has recently taken steps to reduce unemployment. The main steps taken are listed below:

48- ويعمل قطاع القوى العاملة بوزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل على بناء قاعدة بيانات وطنية حول عمالة الأطفال وذلك لجمع البيانات والمعلومات الخاصة بعمالة الأطفال ونشرها على الموقع الالكتروني www.childlabour-ye.org.

498. Eight workshops were also run in eight of the country's governorates, namely San`a, Ibb, Ta`izz, Aden, Abyan, Hudaydah, Hajjah and Mahwit, to discuss the draft national action plan to be submitted as a strategy to the Government and capacity-building for the Child Labour Unit at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour in the area of combating child labour through:
498- كما تم تنفيذ ثمانية ورش عمل في ثمان من محافظات الجمهورية هي صنعاء، وإب، وتعز، وعدن، وأبين، والحديدة، وحجة، والمحويت، لمناقشة مسودة خطة العمل الوطنية التي سترفع كاستراتيجية للحكومة، وبناء قدرات وحدة عمالة الأطفال بوزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل في مجال مكافحة عمل الأطفال ومن ذلك:

52. According to Legislative Decree No. 107 of 1970, particularly articles 2, 5, 6 and 7 thereof, care for children of unknown parentage must be provided by law. The decree assigns the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour responsibility for ensuring that foundlings receive care, protection and an education that enables them to learn self-reliance and to earn a living.
52- وبموجب المرسوم التشريعي رقم ١٠٧ الصادر في ١٩٧٠، لا سيما المواد ٢ و٥ و٦ و٧، يوجب القانون برعاية الأطفال مجهولي النسب، حيث أناط هذا المرسوم بوزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل مسؤولية اللقيط ورعايته وكفالته وتعليمه حتى يستطيع الاعتماد على نفسه وكسب عيشه.

167. Through the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, the State has taken measures to facilitate the transfer of labour from one employer to another without the need for the first employer's approval. These measures include, in particular, the promulgation of Act No. 109 of 2013 establishing the aforementioned Public Authority for Manpower to prevent employers from committing offences constituting forced labour.
167- فاتخذت الدولة ممثلةً بوزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل إجراءات تسهل انتقال الأيدي العاملة بين أصحاب العمل دون الحاجة إلى موافقة صاحب العمل لا سيما بصدور القانون رقم (109) لسنة 2013 بإنشاء الهيئة العاملة للقوى العاملة كما سلف للقضاء على إمكانية لجوء أصحاب العمل إلى إجبار العمال على العمل.

This will enable the Department for the Coordination of Emancipation Policy at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment to compare women's access to senior positions in different sectors of the labour market, and to draw conclusions on the relative impermeability of the glass ceilings in these sectors.
وسوف يمكن هذا إدارة تنسيق سياسة التحرر بوزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل من مضاهاة وصول المرأة للمراكز الرفيعة بشتى قطاعات سوق العمل، وأيضا من استنباط نتائج بشأن المناعة النسبية للأسقف الزجاجية في هذه القطاعات.
