وقد أعلن القرار 62/122 يوم 25 آذار/مارس بوصفه اليوم الدولي لإحياء ذكرى ضحايا الرق وتجارة الرقيق عبر المحيط الأطلسي.

That date has been enshrined in history as the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons.
ولقد كُرّس ذلك اليوم رسميا في التاريخ بوصفه اليوم الدولي للإزالة الكاملة للأسلحة النووية.

١٠ - ندعو الحكومات إلى تأييد مبادرات وخطط المنظمات غير الحكومية لقيام الحركات اﻷسرية بالاحتفال بيوم ١٥ ايار/مايو من كل سنة بوصفه اليوم الدولي لﻷسرة؛ والانضمام إلى تلك المبادرات والخطط؛

7. Welcomes the commemoration and promotion of 26 September as the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons devoted to furthering this objective;
