In its resolution 1/3 of 29 June 2006, the Council decided to extend the mandate of the Open-ended Working Group on an optional protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights for a period of two years and requested the Chairperson of the Working Group to prepare a first draft optional protocol.
61- قرر المجلس، في قراره 1/3 المؤرخ 29 حزيران/يونيه 2006، أن يُمدِّد لفترة سنتين ولاية الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية المعني بوضع بروتوكول اختياري يُلحق بالعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية وطلب إلى رئيس الفريق العامل أن يُعد مشروعاً أول للبروتوكول الاختياري.

Bearing in mind previous resolutions of the Council and the Commission on Human Rights on the realization of economic, social and cultural rights, and in particular Council resolution 1/3 on the Open-ended Working Group on an optional protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights,

2. At its fifth session, on 4 April 2008, the open-ended working group on an optional protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights adopted its report and agreed to transmit a draft optional protocol to the Human Rights Council for its consideration (A/HRC/8/7).
2 - اعتمد الفريق العامل المفتوح باب العضوية المعني بوضع بروتوكول اختياري يُلحق بالعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية تقريره في دورته الخامسة المعقودة في 4 نيسان/أبريل 2008، ووافق على إحالة مشروع بروتوكول اختياري إلى مجلس حقوق الإنسان لينظر فيه (A/HRC/8/7).

While the work of the Open-ended Working Group on an optional protocol to the ICESCR aimed at levelling out any differences that might exist in the perception of the rights guaranteed by the Covenant and those contained in other human rights treaties, there was no such difference in perception with regard to the standing of the Committee in its monitoring role compared to that of the other treaty bodies.

In its resolution 2004/29, as endorsed by Economic and Social Council decision 2004/256, the Commission decided to renew the mandate of the open-ended Working Group, established pursuant to Commission resolution 2002/24 of 22 April 2002, for a period of two years to consider options regarding the elaboration of an optional protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
112- قررت اللجنة، في قرارها 2004/29، الذي أيده مقرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2004/256، أن تجدد ولاية الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية، المنشأ بموجب قرار اللجنة 2002/24 المؤرخ 22 نيسان/أبريل 2002، لفترة سنتين من أجل النظر في الخيارات المتعلقة بوضع بروتوكول اختياري يُلحق بالعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.

In its resolution 2004/29, the Commission on Human Rights decided to renew for a period of two years the mandate of the open-ended working group to consider options regarding the elaboration of an optional protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR/the Covenant) and to convene it for a period of 10 working days prior to the sixty-first as well as the sixty-second sessions of the Commission.
