وأشار إلى لزوم وملاءمة برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة الجديد للتنمية في افريقيا في التسعينات، وكذلك إطار المشاركة اللازم بين افريقيا والمجتمع الدولي، الذي ينبغي في نطاقه تحقيق أهداف البرنامج الجديد.

Finally, Africa and the international community have entered into a global coalition with the adoption of the United Nations New Agenda for the Development of Africa in the 1990s, which should lead to a more productive and sustainable partnership between Africa and the rest of the world, particularly the industrialized countries.
وأخيرا، لقد دخلت افريقيا مع المجتمع الدولي في تآلف عالمي وذلك باعتماد برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة الجديد للتنمية في افريقيا في التسعينات، والذي من شأنه أن يؤدي الى المزيد من المشاركة المنتجة والمستدامة بين افريقيا وبقية العالم، لا سيما البلدان الصناعية.

Specifically, trade, investment, joint ventures, technology transfer and economic assistance are all areas of cooperation that call for rapid promotion between Africa and the other developing regions.
وعلى وجه التحديد، فإن التجارة والاستثمار والمشاريع المشتركة ونقل التكنولوجيا والمساعدة الاقتصادية هي جميعها مجالات من مجالات التعاون بين افريقيا والمناطق النامية اﻷخرى والتي يتعين تعزيزها على وجه السرعة.

On the contrary, the role and responsibilities of UNIDO within the framework of Africa’s industrial development and the creation of industrial partnerships between Africa and the rest of the world should be recognized, encouraged and strengthened.

The Kingdom of Swaziland therefore supports the growing call for an integrated approach to conflict resolution on our continent, which would bring close cooperation between Africa and the rest of the world by establishing mechanisms to coordinate the resources of both in the most effective way.

It should be recalled that the adoption of the New Agenda was accompanied by the operationalization by the international donor community of the Special Programme for Africa, led by the World Bank, to support adjustment and reform, and the establishment of the Global Coalition for Africa in 1991 to conduct policy dialogue between Africa and its partners.
٦٩ - ويجدر باﻹشارة أن اعتماد البرنامج الجديد اقترن ببدء دوائر المانحين الدوليين تشغيل البرنامج الخاص بافريقيا، الذي أشرف عليه البنك الدولي، لدعم التكيف واﻹصلاح، وإنشاء التحالف العالمي من أجل افريقيا في عام ١٩٩١، ﻹجراء حوار بين افريقيا وشركائها بشأن السياسات.
