The relationship between the Special Court and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission was discussed in a workshop jointly organized by the Government of Sierra Leone and UNAMSIL in Freetown, in November 2000, and subsequently in a meeting held in May/June 2001 on the protection of children before the Commission.
