Following the Declaration of Principles and the mutual recognition agreed upon by the Palestine Liberation Organization and Israel in September 1993, the Palestinian and Israeli parties reached the May 1994 Cairo agreement on the Gaza Strip and the Jericho area. Next came the August 1994 agreement on the transfer of authority. Then, in October 1994, a peace treaty was signed by Jordan and Israel.
فبعد التوصل التى إعلان المبادئ، والاعتراف المتبادل بين منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية واسرائيل، توصل الطرفان الفلسطيني والاسرائيلي الى اتفاق القاهرة في ٤ أيار/مايو من هذا العام حول قطاع غزة ومنطقة أريحا، ثم اتفاق النقل المبكر للسلطة في آب/أغسطس الماضي، كما تم التوقيع على معاهدة سلام بين اﻷردن واسرائيل في شهر تشرين اﻷول/اكتوبر الماضي.

Also bearing in mind the Jordan-Israel Treaty of Peace of 26 October 1994,
