وإذ يشير كذلك إلى الفقرة 16 من ذات القرار، التي يهيب فيها بالحكومات المانحة والمؤسسات المالية وغيرها من المنظمات المهتمة أن تقدم تبرعات مالية إلى الصندوق الاستئماني من أجل تيسير عمل المنتدى والأمانة بصورة مستمرة،

The Secretary-General would like to note that at its eighth ordinary session held in Khartoum from 16 to 21 January 2006, the Executive Council of the African Union launched an appeal for voluntary financial contributions to the Trust Fund of the Regional Centre.
ويود الأمين العام الإشارة إلى أن المجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الأفريقي أطلق في دورته العادية الثامنة المعقودة في الخرطوم في الفترة من 16إلى 21كانون الثاني/يناير 2006، نداء من أجل تقديم تبرعات مالية إلى الصندوق الاستئماني للمركز الإقليمي().

8 - يهيب بالجهات المانحة المهتمة تقديم تبرعات مالية إلى الصندوق الاستئماني لمنتدى الأمم المتحدة المعني بالغابات وذلك لكي تيسر، على وجه الخصوص، سفر ممثلين من البلدان النامية، مع إيلاء الأولوية لأقل البلدان نموا، وكذلك ممثلين من البلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية، مع مراعاة مقرر الجمعية العامة 58/554 المؤرخ 23 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003.

7. In paragraph 9 of resolution 67/201, the General Assembly welcomed the agreement of the Lebanon Recovery Fund to host the Eastern Mediterranean Oil Spill Restoration Trust Fund, and, in paragraph 10, noted that, in his report, the Secretary-General had urged Member States, intergovernmental organizations and the private sector, among others, to make voluntary financial contributions to the Trust Fund.
7 - وفي الفقرة 9 من قرارها 67/201، رحبت الجمعية العامة بموافقة صندوق إنعاش لبنان على استضافة الصندوق الاستئماني لمعالجة أضرار الانسكاب النفطي في شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط، ولاحظت في الفقرة 10 أن الأمين العام حث في تقريره الدول الأعضاء والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والقطاع الخاص، من بين جهات أخرى، إلى تقديم تبرعات مالية إلى الصندوق الاستئماني.
