By its resolution 49/75 C, the General Assembly took note of the report of the 1994 Group of Governmental Experts (see A/49/316) and decided to keep the scope of and participation in the Register under review, requesting Member States to provide the Secretary-General with their views in that regard, as well as on transparency measures relating to weapons of mass destruction.
4 - في القرار 49/75 جيم، أحاطت الجمعية العامة علما بتقرير فريق الخبراء الحكوميين لعام 1994 (انظر A/49/316)، وقررت إبقاء نطاق السجل والمشاركة فيه قيد الاستعراض، وطلبت إلى الدول الأعضاء أن تبلغ الأمين العام بآرائها في هذا الصدد، وكذلك بشأن تدابير الشفافية المتصلة بأسلحة الدمار الشامل.

The General Assembly, in operative paragraph 7 (a) of its resolution 61/77, requested Member States of the United Nations to provide the Secretary-General with their views on the continuing operation of the Register of conventional arms and its further development and on transparency measures related to weapons of mass destruction.
1 - طلبت الجمعية العامة، في الفقرة 7 (أ) من منطوق قرارها 61/77 إلى الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة أن تبلغ الأمين العام بآرائها بشأن مواصلة تشغيل سجل الأسلحة التقليدية وزيادة تطويره، وبشأن تدابير الشفافية المتصلة بأسلحة الدمار الشامل.

1. In resolution 61/77, operative paragraph 7 (a), the General Assembly requests States Members of the United Nations to provide the Secretary-General with their views on the continuing operation of the Register and its further development, as well as on transparency measures related to weapons of mass destruction.
1 - يُطلب في الفقرة 7 (أ) من منطوق القرار 61/77 إلى الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة أن تبلغ الأمين العام بآرائها بشأن مواصلة تشغيل السجل وزيادة تطويره، وبشأن تدابير الشفافية المتصلة بأسلحة الدمار الشامل.

2. In the same resolution, the General Assembly reaffirmed its decision, with a view to the further development of the Register, to keep the scope of and participation in the Register under review and, to that end, recalled its request to Member States to provide the Secretary-General with their views on the continuing operation of the Register and its further development and on transparency measures related to weapons of mass destruction.
