States Parties shall take measures not less favourable than those applied to nationals to ensure that working and living conditions of migrant workers and members of their families in a regular situation are in keeping with the standards of fitness, safety, health and principles of human dignity.

1. States Parties shall take measures conducive to the optimal implementation of this Convention to the extent possible, through international cooperation, taking into account the negative effects of corruption on society in general, in particular on sustainable development.

19. Article 12, paragraph 5, requires that States parties take measures -- including legislative, administrative, judicial and other practical measures -- to ensure the rights of persons with disabilities with respect to financial and economic affairs, on an equal basis with others.

According to article 62, paragraph 1, " States Parties shall take measures conducive to the optimal implementation of this Convention to the extent possible, through international cooperation, taking into account the negative effects of corruption on society in general, in particular on sustainable development " , and pursuant to paragraph 2, they must make " concrete efforts " in this regard.
وتنص الفقرة 1 من المادة 62 على أن " تتخذ الدول الأطراف تدابير تساعد على التنفيذ الأمثل لهذه الاتفاقية قدر الإمكان، من خلال التعاون الدولي، آخذة في اعتبارها ما للفساد من آثار سلبية في المجتمع عموما وفي التنمية المستدامة خصوصا، ويجب عليها، عملا بالفقرة 2، أن تبذل " جهودا ملموسة " في هذا الشأن.

Article 33 (2) of UNFA, although not directly mentioning trade measures, provides that " States Parties shall take measures consistent with this Agreement and international law to deter the activities of vessels flying the flag of non-parties which undermine the effective implementation of this Agreement " .
وتنص المادة 33 (2) من اتفاق الأمم المتحدة بشأن الأرصدة السمكية، وإن كانت لا تذكر مباشرة تدابير التجارة، على أن " تتخذ الدول الأطراف تدابير تتمشى مع هذا الاتفاق والقانون الدولي لمنع أنشطة السفن الرافعة لأعلام غير الأطراف، التي تقوض فعالية تنفيذ هذا الاتفاق " .

13. In its general recommendation 8 on the implementation of article 8, adopted at the same session, the Committee recommended that States parties take measures in accordance with that article to ensure full implementation of article 8, and that women have opportunities to represent their Governments at the international level and to participate in the work of international organizations on equal terms with men and without discrimination.
13 - وأوصت اللجنة في توصيتها العامة 8 بشأن تنفيذ المادة 8 التي اعتمدتها في الدورة نفسها بأن تتخذ الدول الأطراف تدابير وفقا لهذه المادة من أجل ضمان تنفيذ المادة 8 تنفيذا تاما وأن تعطي للمرأة فرصة تمثيل حكومتها على الصعيد الدولي والمشاركة في أعمال المنظمات الدولية على قدم المساواة مع الرجل وبدون تمييز.
