As at December 2011, the United Nations Asian and Pacific Centre for Agricultural Engineering and Machinery had made significant progress in achieving the target indicator of 75 per cent of participants in its programmes reporting being better able to formulate strategies for sustainable economic growth and rural poverty reduction through regional cooperation in aspects of agrotechnology and agricultural enterprise development.
