The Working Group noted that member States and regional space agencies could also submit information on the above topic for inclusion in the annual report on national research on space debris, the safety of space objects with NPS on board and problems relating to their collision with space debris.

1. The National Air Service has at present no national space activities to report and is not carrying out any investigation or study on the safety of space objects with nuclear power sources on board or any national investigation on space debris, its impact and ways of protecting space objects from this danger.
1- ليست لدى الخدمة الجوية الوطنية في بنما حاليا أنشطة فضائية وطنية تبلّغ عنها، ولا تجري أي بحث أو دراسة حول سلامة الأجسام الفضائية التي تحمل على متنها مصادر قدرة نووية أو أي بحث وطني عن الحطام الفضائي وأثره وسبل حماية الأجسام الفضائية من خطره.

The Subcommittee had before it a note by the Secretariat on national research on space debris, safety of space objects with nuclear power sources on board and problems relating to their collision with space debris, containing replies received from member States on the issue (A/AC.105/817).
87- وكان معروضا على اللجنة الفرعية مذكرة من الأمانة عن البحوث الوطنية المتعلقة بالحطام الفضائي وأمان الأجسام الفضائية التي تحمل على متنها مصادر قدرة نووية والمشاكل المتصلة باصطدامها بالحطام الفضائي، تضمنت الردود المتلقاة من الدول الأعضاء بشأن هذه المسألة (A/AC.105/817).

١٢ - واتفقت اللجنة الفرعية على أنه ينبغي للدول اﻷعضاء أن تولي مزيدا من الاهتمام لمشكلة اصطدام الحطام الفضائي باﻷجسام الفضائية ، بما فيها اﻷجسام التي تحمل على متنها مصادر قدرة نووية ، ولسائر جوانب مسألة الحطام الفضائي .

Some delegations expressed the view that it was necessary to continue improving the Space Debris Mitigation Guidelines of the Committee and that the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee and the Legal Subcommittee should cooperate with the aim of developing legally binding rules relating to space debris, including debris derived from space platforms with nuclear power sources on board.
100- ورأت بعض الوفود أنَّ من الضروري مواصلة تحسين المبادئ التوجيهية لتخفيف الحطام الفضائي التي وضعتها لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية وأنَّ على اللجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية واللجنة الفرعية القانونية أن تتعاونا بهدف وضع قواعد ملزمة قانوناً بشأن الحطام الفضائي، بما يشمل الحطام الناشئ عن المنصَّات الفضائية التي تحمل على متنها مصادر قدرة نووية.

The Subcommittee agreed that Member States and space agencies should once again be invited to provide reports on research on space debris, the safety of space objects with NPS on board and problems relating to the collision of such space objects with space debris.
75- واتفقت اللجنة الفرعية على أنه ينبغي دعوة الدول الأعضاء ووكالات الفضاء مجدّدا إلى تقديم تقارير عن البحوث المتعلقة بالحطام الفضائي وأمان الأجسام الفضائية التي تحمل على متنها مصادر قدرة نووية والمشاكل المتصلة باصطدام تلك الأجسام بالحطام الفضائي.

Some delegations expressed the view that reports on national research on space debris, safety of space objects with NPS on board and problems relating to their collision with space debris did not contain replies from the States that were largely responsible for creating space debris, including debris from platforms with NPS.
82- وأعرب بعض الوفود عن رأي مفاده أن التقارير عن الأبحاث الوطنية بشأن السلامة من الحطام الفضائي للأجسام الفضائية التي تحمل على متنها مصادر قدرة نووية والمشاكل المتصلة باصطدامها في الفضاء بالحطام الفضائي لم تتضمن ردودا من الدول المسؤولة بقدر كبير عن تكوّن الحطام الفضائي، بما في ذلك الحطام الناتج عن منصَّات تحمل مصادر قدرة نووية.
