3. each State Party shall endeavour to evaluate periodically existing relevant legal instruments and public practices with a view to detecting their vulnerability to corruption and criminal acts related specifically to corruption.
3- تسعى كل دولة طرف الى اجراء تقييم دوري لما هو موجود من صكوك قانونية وممارسات عمومية ذات صلة، بغية تبيّن مدى تعرضها للفساد والأفعال الاجرامية المتصلة بالفساد على وجه التحديد.

4. each State Party shall endeavour to develop and evaluate national projects and to establish and promote best practices and policies aimed at the prevention of corruption and criminal acts related specifically to corruption.
4- تسعى كل دولة طرف الى صوغ وتقييم مشاريع وطنية وارساء وترويج ممارسات وسياسات فُضلى تستهدف منع الفساد والأفعال الاجرامية المتصلة بالفساد على وجه التحديد.

3. each State Party shall endeavour to periodically evaluate relevant legal instruments and administrative measures with a view to determining their adequacy to prevent and fight corruption.
3- تسعى كل دولة طرف إلى اجراء تقييم دوري للصكوك القانونية والتدابير الادارية ذات الصلة، بغية تقرير مدى كفايتها لمنع الفساد ومكافحته.

2. In particular, each State Party shall endeavour to apply, within its own institutional and legal systems, codes or standards of conduct for the correct, honourable and proper performance of public functions.
2- على وجه الخصوص، تسعى كل دولة طرف إلى أن تطبق، ضمن نطاق نظمها المؤسسية والقانونية، مدونات أو معايير سلوكية من أجل الأداء الصحيح والمشرّف والسليم للوظائف العمومية.

3- تسعى كل دولة طرف إلى ضمان ممارسة أي صلاحيات قانونية تقديرية يتيحها قانونها الداخلي فيما يتعلق بملاحقة الأشخاص لارتكابهم جرائم مشمولة بهذه الاتفاقية، من أجل تحقيق الفعالية القصوى لتدابير إنفاذ القانون التي تُتخذ بشأن تلك الجرائم، ومع إيلاء الاعتبار الواجب لضرورة ردع ارتكابها.
