ESCAP explored new avenues with the South Pacific Forum secretariat for joint collaboration for the benefit of the Pacific island countries, including presentation of a paper entitled “Examples of sound practices by other countries in the areas of Investment Promotion and Facilitation” at a meeting of heads of Pacific investment promotion agencies organized by the Forum secretariat.
١٦ - وقامت اللجنة الاقتصادية ﻵسيا والمحيط الهادئ باستطلاع سبل جديدة للتعاون المشترك مع أمانة محفل جنوب المحيط الهادئ لصالح بلدان المحيط الهادئ الجزرية، بما في ذلك تقديم ورقة عنوانها " أمثلة الممارسات السليمة التي تنتهجها البلدان اﻷخرى في مجال تشجيع وتيسير الاستثمار " ، وذلك في اجتماع لرؤساء وكالات تشجيع الاستثمار في منطقة المحيط الهادئ نظمته أمانة المحفل.

Specific technical assistance programmes addressing the special needs of LDCs include the UNCTAD-ICC Investment Guides, the UNCTAD-JBIC Blue Books on Best Practice in Investment Promotion and Facilitation, and the Good Governance in Investment Promotion Programme (GGIP).
