The members of the Guinea configuration of the Peacebuilding Commission reiterate their readiness to assist with the preparations for the elections and, in general, to support Guinea on the road to peacebuilding and democracy.

the Guinea configuration of the Peacebuilding Commission welcomes the agreement on the preparation and organization of the 2013 legislative elections, concluded on 3 July 2013 between the Government and the opposition, with a view to holding inclusive, free, transparent and peaceful legislative elections, in keeping with the rules and principles of the rule of law and the country's institutions.
