Also requests the United Nations Coordinator of International Cooperation on Chernobyl to continue to collect, document and disseminate all experiences and lessons learned from tackling the human consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear accident for application and replication in other nuclear disaster situations and to fully utilize those experiences in the areas of disaster risk reduction, preparedness, response and recovery worldwide;

Assessment missions, the United Nations report entitled " The Human Consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear Accident: A Strategy for Recovery " and the World Bank report of 15 July 2002 entitled " Belarus: Review of the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear accident and a programme for addressing them " have been the most significant steps taken by the international community with regard to assessing the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster.
وقد كانت بعثات التقييم، وتقرير الأمم المتحدة المعنون " الآثار الإنسانية الناجمة عن حادث تشيرنوبيل النووي: استراتيجية للإنعاش " ، وتقرير البنك الدولي المؤرخ 15 تموز/يوليه 2002 المعنون " بيلاروس: استعراض نتائج الحادث النووي في تشيرنوبيل وإعداد برنامج للتصدي لها " أهم الإجراءات التي اتخذها المجتمع الدولي فيما يتعلق بتقييم عواقب كارثة تشيرنوبيل.

The approach, first proposed in the 2002 report, entitled " The human consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear accident: a strategy for recovery " , calls for a shift from emergency humanitarian aid to long-term development assistance aimed at creating new economic opportunities, restoring community self-sufficiency and promoting a return to normalcy among affected populations. The anniversary showed a strong consensus behind that approach.
