3. Requests the UNCTAD secretariat, for its next session, to study the possibility of formulating a model cooperation agreement on competition law and policy, based on the Set of Principles and Rules on Competition;

While the elaboration of a model cooperation Agreement on Competition Law and Policy by UNCTAD would therefore not be feasible, it should be possible to elaborate Model Cooperation Provisions, with alternative options or variations in wording, based upon clauses contained in different bilateral, regional, plurilateral and multilateral cooperation instruments (including the Set of Principles and Rules).
