The Assembly reaffirmed its strong support for the role of the Centre in the promotion of activities of the United Nations at the regional level to strengthen peace, stability and security among the Member States in Asia and the Pacific and requested the Secretary-General to report to the Assembly at its sixty-ninth session on the implementation of the resolution.
وأكدت الجمعية العامة من جديد دعمها القوي لدور المركز في النهوض بأنشطة الأمم المتحدة على الصعيد الإقليمي تعزيزا للسلام والاستقرار والأمن فيما بين الدول الأعضاء في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها التاسعة والستين عن تنفيذ ذلك القرار.
