In its resolution 58/157 of 22 December 2003, on the rights of the child, the Assembly called on all States to strengthen their national statistical capacities and to collect and use comprehensive data disaggregated by age, sex and other relevant factors.
وفي قرارها 58/157 المؤرخ 22 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003، بشأن حقوق الطفلة، دعت الجمعية جميع الدول إلى تعزيز قدراتها الإحصائية الوطنية وجمع واستخدام بيانات شاملة مبوبة حسب العمر والجنس والعوامل الأخرى ذات الصلة.

9. Encourages States to strengthen their national statistical capacities and to use statistics disaggregated, inter alia, by age, sex and other relevant factors to enable the identification of discrimination and/or disparities and other statistical indicators at the national, subregional, regional and international levels so as to develop and assess social policies and programmes for the full realization of the rights of the child;
9 - تشجع الدول على تعزيز قدراتها الإحصائية الوطنية واستخدام إحصاءات مصنفة، في جملة أمور، حسب العمر والجنس وغيرهما من العوامل ذات الصلة لتيسير تحديد أوجه التمييز و/أو التفاوت، واستخدام مؤشرات إحصائية أخرى، على كل من الصعيد الوطني ودون الإقليمي والإقليمي والدولي، لوضع سياسات وبرامج اجتماعية وتقييمها من أجل الإعمال الكامل لحقوق الطفل؛
