19. During the period covered by the present report nine reports from States parties under article 19 of the Convention were submitted to the SecretaryGeneral.

(b) The Commission shall transmit, as it may consider appropriate, to the intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, other multilateral organizations and the specialized agencies any reports from the States Parties that contain a request, or indicate a need, for technical advice or assistance, along with the Commission’s observations and suggestions, if any, on those requests or indications;
)ب( تحيل اللجنة ، وفقا لما تراه مناسبا ، إلى المنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية وغيرها من المنظمات المتعددة اﻷطراف والوكالات المتخصصة أي تقارير من الدول اﻷطراف تتضمن طلبا للمشورة أو المساعدة التقنية أو تبدي الحاجة إليها ، مشفوعة بملاحظات اللجنة واقتراحاتها، إن وجدت، بشأن هذه الطلبات أو البيانات ؛

Traditionally, the Committee considered the reports of eight States parties at each session, and there were now 35 reports from States parties awaiting consideration.

24. The Committee noted with concern that it had not yet received any reports from States parties under article 73 of the Convention.

5- تحيل اللجنة، حسبما تراه ملائماً، إلى الوكالات المتخصصة وصناديق الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها وسائر الهيئات المختصة، أي تقارير من الدول الأطراف تتضمن طلباً للمشورة أو المساعدة التقنيتين، أو تشير إلى حاجتها إلى أي منهما، وتشفعها بملاحظات اللجنة وتوصياتها، إن وُجدت، بصدد هذه الطلبات أو الإشارات.

48. The Meeting of States Parties reviewed progress towards obtaining universality for the Convention and considered the Report from the Chairman on universalization activities (BWC/MSP/2012/3, and Add.1), as well as reports from States parties on their activities to promote universalization.
48- وقام اجتماع الدول الأطراف باستعراض التقدم المحرز نحو تحقيق عالمية الاتفاقية والاطلاع على تقرير من الرئيس عن الأنشطة المتعلقة بالعالمية (BWC/MSP/2012/3، وAdd.1)، وكذلك على تقارير من الدول الأطراف عن أنشطتها لتعزيز العالمية.

As articulated in article 45 of the Convention, the Committee may also transmit, as it considers appropriate, to any specialized United Nations agency, OHCHR and any other competent body any reports from States parties that contain a request or indicate a need for technical advice or assistance in the establishment of NHRIs.
24- ويجوز للجنة أن تحيل أيضاً، بموجب أحكام المادة 45 من الاتفاقية، وحسبما تراه مناسباً، إلى أي وكالة من الوكالات المتخصصة في منظومة الأمم المتحدة ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة والهيئات المختصة الأخرى، أية تقارير من الدول الأطراف تتضمن طلباً للمشورة أو للمساعدة التقنيتين أو تشير إلى حاجتها لمثل هذه المشورة أو المساعدة لإنشاء المؤسسات الوطنية المستقلة لحقوق الإنسان.

24. As articulated in article 45 of the Convention, the Committee may also transmit, as it considers appropriate, to any specialized United Nations agency, OHCHR and any other competent body any reports from States parties that contain a request or indicate a need for technical advice or assistance in the establishment of NHRIs.
24- ويجوز للجنة أن تحيل أيضاً، بموجب أحكام المادة 45 من الاتفاقية، وحسبما تراه مناسباً، إلى أي وكالة من الوكالات المتخصصة في منظومة الأمم المتحدة ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة والهيئات المختصة الأخرى، أية تقارير من الدول الأطراف تتضمن طلباً للمشورة أو للمساعدة التقنيتين أو تشير إلى حاجتها لمثل هذه المشورة أو المساعدة لإنشاء المؤسسات الوطنية المستقلة لحقوق الإنسان.

33. As at 14 February 2007, the Committee had received seven reports of States parties on the implementation of the recommendations addressed to them by the Committee following consideration of their initial or periodic reports.
33- تلقت اللجنة حتى 14 شباط/فبراير 2007 سبعة تقارير من الدول الأطراف بشأن تنفيذ التوصيات التي قدمتها إليها اللجنة بعد النظر في تقاريرها الأولية أو تقاريرها الدورية.
