In this context it should also be mentioned that Italy is the only industrialized Country with relevant immigration flows that has ratified ILO Convention No. 143 on Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers.

2. CMW invited Bolivia to accede to ILO Conventions No. 97 (1949) concerning Migration for Employment and No. 143 (1975) concerning Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers.

11. The Committee notes that the State party has not ratified ILO Conventions No. 97 (revised 1949) concerning Migration for Employment or No. 143 (1975) concerning Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers.

13. The Committee notes that the State party has still not ratified the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention concerning Migration for Employment (Revised 1949) (No. 97) or the ILO Convention concerning Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers (No. 143).
13- وتلاحظ اللجنة أن الدولة الطرف لم توقع بعد على اتفاقيتي منظمة العمل الدولية بشأن العمال المهاجرين (المنقحة في عام 1994) (رقم 97) أو اتفاقية الهجرة في أوضاع اعتسافية وتعزيز تكافؤ الفرص والمعاملة للعمال المهاجرين (رقم 143).

It further recommends that the State party ratify the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families and ILO Convention No. 143 (1975) concerning Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers.
وتوصي اللجنة كذلك الدولة الطرف بأن تُصدِّق على الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية حقوق جميع العمال المهاجرين وأفراد أُسرهم، واتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 143(1975) بشأن الهجرة في أوضاع اعتسافية وتعزيز تكافؤ الفرص والمعاملة للعمال المهاجرين.

The Committee notes that the State party has not yet become a party to ILO Conventions No. 97 (revised, 1949) concerning migration for employment, No. 143 (1975) concerning migrations in abusive conditions and the promotion of equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers and No. 189 (2011) concerning decent work for domestic workers.

Consider the possibility of ratifying the ICRMW and ILO Convention No. 143 on Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers (Honduras);

2. In 2010, the Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (CMW) recommended that the Government consider making the declarations provided for in articles 76 and 77 of the Convention and ratify International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention No. 143 concerning Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers.

In 2010, the Special Rapporteur on the human rights of migrants recommended that the Government consider ratifying the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (ICRMW) and ILO Convention No. 143 concerning Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers.

72. Two key instruments of the International Labour Organization (ILO) for the protection of migrant workers, namely, the Convention concerning Migration for Employment (Revised 1949) (No. 97), and the Convention concerning Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers, 1975 (No. 143), have been in force for a long time.

(13) The Committee takes note of the information submitted by the State party on the efforts made to obtain approval by the National Assembly for ratification of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention concerning Migrations in Abusive Conditions and the Promotion of Equality of Opportunity and Treatment of Migrant Workers (No. 143) of 1975.
