I have the honour to inform you that pursuant to General Assembly resolution 67/204, entitled " implementation of the International Year of Water Cooperation, 2013 " , a high-level international conference on water cooperation was successfully held on 20 and 21 August 2013 in Dushanbe.
أتشرف بإبلاغكم بأنه عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 67/204، المعنون " تنفيذ أنشطة السنة الدولية للتعاون في مجال المياه، 2013 " ، فقد عقد بنجاح مؤتمر دولي رفيع المستوى بشأن التعاون في مجال المياه، يومي 20 و 21 آب/أغسطس 2013 في دوشانبي.

The successful implementation of the International Year of Rice -- 2004 has raised considerably the awareness of the world's population of the role that rice can play in providing food security and eradicating poverty, and has led to increased support for the development of sustainable rice-based production systems.
وبفضل النجاح في تنفيذ أنشطة السنة الدولية للأرز - 2004، زاد وعي سكان العالم إلى حد بعيد بالدور الذي يمكن أن ينهض بـه الأرز في توفير الأمن الغذائي والقضاء على الفقر، كما أن هذا النجاح أدى إلى زيادة حجم التأييد للجهود الرامية إلى توفير أنظمة إنتاج مستدامة قوامها الأرز.

Encourages activities related to the implementation of the International Year of Water Cooperation, undertaken by Member States, the Secretariat and the organizations of the United Nations system, inter alia, through inter-agency work, as well as contributions from major groups, and emphasizes the importance of country-level implementation of the Year;

The 15 working groups, which are the cornerstone of the implementation of the International Year of the Family in Austria, deal with the following facets of the phenomenon that we know as the family: family violence, environment, housing, working life, youth, the elderly, family allowances, disability, different forms of living together, difficult living conditions, family law, health, relationship to society, media and education.

I have the honour to bring to your attention the attached report on the implementation of the International Year of Rice -- 2004 which was prepared by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in its capacity as lead agency for the Year, in collaboration with Governments, relevant organizations of the United Nations, other organizations and non-governmental organizations.
يشرفني أن أطلعكم على التقرير المرفق طيه عن تنفيذ أنشطة السنة الدولية للأرز - 2004، الذي أعدته منظمة الأغذية والزراعة (الفاو) بوصفها الوكالة الرائدة لأنشطة تلك السنة بالتعاون مع الحكومات ومؤسسات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة وغيرها من المؤسسات والمنظمات غير الحكومية (انظر المرفق).

We encourage participation of ACD Member States at the High-level International Conference on Water Cooperation, which will be held on 22 August 2013 in Dushanbe, in accordance with the United Nations General Assembly resolution entitled " implementation of the International Year of Water Cooperation, 2013 " , and note the convening of the second Asia-Pacific Water Summit in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on 19 and 20 May 2013;

We, representatives of Governments, international and regional organizations and civil society met in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on 20 and 21 August 2013 at the High-level International Conference on Water Cooperation to support the implementation of United Nations General Assembly resolution 67/204, entitled " implementation of the International Year of Water Cooperation, 2013 " , and to promote actions at all levels to advance cooperation on water.
نحن، ممثلي الحكومات والمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية والمجتمع المدني، وقد اجتمعنا في دوشانبي، طاجيكستان، يومي 20 و 21 آب/أغسطس 2013 في المؤتمر الدولي الرفيع المستوى بشأن التعاون في مجال المياه لدعم تنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة 67/204، المعنون " تنفيذ أنشطة السنة الدولية للتعاون في مجال المياه، 2013 " ، ولتعزيز اتخاذ إجراءات على جميع المستويات للنهوض بالتعاون في مجال المياه.

The High-level International Conference on Water Cooperation was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on 20 and 21 August 2013, pursuant to General Assembly resolution 67/204, entitled " implementation of the International Year of Water Cooperation, 2013 " , to promote dialogue and mutual understanding and to strengthen partnership and cooperation on water issues among all stakeholders at all levels.
عقد المؤتمر الدولي الرفيع المستوى بشأن التعاون في مجال المياه في دوشانبي، طاجيكستان، يومي 20 و 21 آب/أغسطس 2013، عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة 67/204، المعنون " تنفيذ أنشطة السنة الدولية للتعاون في مجال المياه، 2013 " ، بغرض تعزيز الحوار والفهم المتبادل وتعزيز الشراكة والتعاون بشأن المسائل المتعلقة بالمياه في ما بين جميع أصحاب المصلحة وعلى كل المستويات.

In the same resolution, the General Assembly invited the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to facilitate the implementation of the International Year of Rice in collaboration with Governments, the United Nations Development Programme, the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), other relevant organizations of the United Nations system and non-governmental organizations.
