In order to more comprehensively address this issue in ceasefire and peace agreements, the Department of Political Affairs, in close collaboration with the United Nations system, eminent mediators and mediation experts, has produced the United Nations Guidance for Mediators on Addressing Conflict-Related Sexual Violence in Ceasefire and Peace Agreements.
