The experiment of providing the SecretaryGeneral with limited discretion to enter into commitments of up to $20 million in each biennium for positions and non-post requirements connected with the evolving needs of the Organization should be implemented in a manner consistent with the principles and guidelines in section III of General Assembly resolution 60/283.
